Anne Tremblay is an influential leader in criminal justice and community-driven problem-solving. As CEO of A.C.T. Consulting, she partners with government agencies and community-based organizations to craft innovative strategies that build trust, secure critical funding, and drive meaningful change. Her expertise in leading public-private partnerships has transformed and strengthened neighborhoods throughout the US.
With over 29 years of experience in criminal and collaborative justice, Anne has worked at the highest levels of city and county government—serving as a community-based prosecutor, director of Los Angeles’ innovative gang reduction and youth development program, chief legal counsel to the mayor of LA, and a senior advisor in the nation’s largest sheriff’s department.
Anne’s passion for community building was sparked early - as a high school exchange student in a seaside Turkish village, where her eyes were opened to the wider world. After her formative experience of living abroad, Anne emerged as a resourceful, skilled communicator with a deep understanding of how culture and place shape our communities.
Anne is a catalyst for change, turning vision into action. She believes that by forging strong partnerships, leading with bold, creative strategies, and elevating community voices, we build safe and thriving communities.
Her contributions have been recognized by the Los Angeles Police Commission, the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, and a leading South Los Angeles nonprofit. She has also been honored as a Harvard Law School Wasserstein Public Interest Fellow.
Anne graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in History and earned her JD at Emory University School of Law.
